Starting up

So, I decided to start a blog. This is primarily a way to stay in touch with family, because I have been sending emails, but a blog would be easier, and it would let me put pictures directly into the body of the text (which I don't know how to do in email.)

To start, let's throw in a picture of my favorite Hoyme residents, just to see if I can figure out how to post a picture.
